Newsgroups

     Newsgroups are specialized forums where people can post ideas, pictures, information and opinions on just about anything they want provided it's relevant to the group's main interest. There is no two-way communication - people just post whatever they want the rest of the world to see.

     There are 2 types of newsgroups - moderated and unmoderated. Unmoderated newsgroups display anything people post and become available to viewers right away.
